That the House of Representatives urge the Government to provide funding for all schools in New Zealand to have gender-neutral bathrooms.

Petition reason

For the 2020 election campaign, Labour created policies relating to the LGBTQ+ community of New Zealand. One of these policies is, "We will ensure schools apply guidance to create safe and inclusive school environments for all students, work with schools on providing gender-neutral bathrooms..." I believe that all students deserve to have a safe and comfortable place to use the restroom, and the government needs to provide funding to all New Zealand schools in order for this to happen.
