Petition request
That the House of Representatives: urge the Government to designate the political wings of the Hamas and Hezbollah movements as terrorist organisations, and pass legislation that expels members of Parliament who support any activities of designated terrorist organisations.
Petition reason
I believe recent terrorist activities of Hamas against Israel, resulting in the loss of innocent lives including babies, women, children and the elderly, involve intentional violence and the creation of fear to advance political or ideological goals. I believe the political wings of Hamas and Hezbollah should be designated as terrorist organisations, in addition to the military wings. I believe we should be protected from any form of support for them from within the New Zealand legislative body.
