As a dedicated dog rescue organisation, we are on the frontlines of what we believe is a heartbreaking crisis affecting dogs throughout New Zealand. Companion animal welfare legislation in New Zealand, as assessed by the World Animal Protection Index, is lagging behind other countries including India and some East European countries.
