Petition reason
We believe youth homelessness in Aotearoa is a human rights crisis facing our young people. We believe a specific regional and national strategy to address youth homelessness is urgently required. Our experience is that organisations across Aotearoa are ready to respond with youth-specific housing models, but an urgent allocation of resources is needed. We believe funding is also needed to research the size and scope of the scale of youth homelessness in Aotearoa.
