That the House of Representatives urge the Government to shift funding away from conventional dental procedures like root canals, extractions, and sedatives; and increase funding for patient-led, non-surgical, needle-free, non-anaesthetic, drug-free, and non-invasive procedures.

Petition reason

I'm sick to my stomach of being told that surgeries, invasive methods, extractions, and outdated traditional ideas of dentistry are the only options, I don’t think this is fair. We want to replace these concepts with what, to us, are newer, bolder, more innovative ideas to make treatments more comfortable as done and led by patients themselves. I believe one of the causes of this situation is complacency: people think nothing can change, when in reality, I think things can change.
