That the House of Representatives regulate the building inspectors industry.
Petition reason
I believe existing-home buyers should get the same protection as new-build owners. I estimate that losses are in the hundreds of millions annually. In my view, legal action is too expensive, and inspectors cover their assets and carry no insurance, so Tribunal wins are often unpaid.
