That the House of Representatives urge the Government to review and reduce tobacco excise taxes.
Petition reason
I am petitioning Parliament to review and reduce tobacco excise taxes, which significantly increase cigarette prices. I believe the Government should consider the financial impact on adult smokers and low-income households and examine whether current tobacco taxation remains appropriate.
