That the House of Representatives pass a law requiring all people convicted of animal abuse offences to take a compulsory animal care course before adopting again.
Petition reason
I think this should happen because, if we can stop animal abuse repetition, we will hurt less animals and our country might change its place in the world for animal cruelty. Also I feel that many animal abusers may not be aware of the proper way to care for their animals, and having an animal care course could teach them the right way to care.
