That the House of Representatives pass legislation to protect the right of transgender and gender nonconforming athletes to compete in publicly funded sports without discrimination at any level.
Petition reason
We are appalled at this coalition Government's agreement to change sporting rules. We assert that: this would further marginalise our community under the guise of fairness; as a community, it is important we stand together, united in our efforts to ensure that our full community can participate in sports; and that our collective rights have been long fought for, and we cannot stand by and watch the Government trample the very freedoms we have come to enjoy.
