That the House of Representatives require quarterly public release of fully itemised Parliamentary Service expenses for each MP, attributed by name, broken down by category such as security or additional support, and published online in a searchable format.

Petition reason

I think that MPs are paid a substantial public salary, yet I consider that their expenses are disclosed only as vague summaries. I believe that some MPs spend amounts rivalling or exceeding their salary, with insufficient accountability, and that itemised quarterly reporting would deter waste, improve transparency and restore public trust in how taxpayer money is spent.
