That the House of Representatives urge the Government to increase funding of the Total Mobility Scheme so that the scheme meets the needs of everyone who delivers or uses it.
Petition reason
I feel that recent reviews of the Total Mobility Scheme have not delivered fairness to everyone who both deliver and use the scheme. I believe the Total Mobility scheme must deliver greater, internationally benchmarked subsidies in areas such as lift fees and wheelchair hoist conversions, provide a passenger discount benchmarked to comparable jurisdictions of at least 75%, and be delivered in a manner that is consistent across all regions.
