That the House of Representatives reform the ACC review and complaints processes, including increasing the independence of clinical reviews and ensuring free legal representation for claimants.
Petition reason
My experience is that injured people may not be able to get medical care, even people with accepted claims. I believe that some people who have experienced medical misadventure live with severe losses and insufficient medical care. I believe basics like pain medication are a right not a privilege, and families are impacted when a parent gets injured. We want fair independent doctor reviews as well as free legal representation to ensure a fair chance for representation against ACC.
