That the House of Representatives make first aid training mandatory for operators of public transport vehicles.
Petition reason
In recent events bus drivers and other operators of public transportation e.g. taxis have been assaulted and injured. I am a child of bus drivers and it breaks a child’s heart to see their parent nearly die from an assault. I urge the Government of New Zealand to make this come into law to keep us and communities safe while driving around the country.
