That the House of Representatives implement transitional provision for students who were already enrolled in tertiary study and expecting final‑year Fees Free, by restoring it or delaying its removal until current cohorts finish their study.

Petition reason

I’m a current student who planned my study around final‑year Fees Free, which the government said would be available for my last year. Its sudden removal has left many facing unexpected debt and stress. I feel students who already missed out on first‑year Fees Free are now being hit twice, with no protection or transition. We enrolled in good faith and organised our lives around the rules we were given, and I think changing the policy halfway through our qualifications is unfair and unjust.
