That the House of Representatives not pass legislation that would provide Police with the power to issue move-on orders.

Petition reason

I believe: the proposed move-on orders would make homeless people, those begging, or otherwise vulnerable, commit offences simply for surviving; this could push them into hardship, leave them with nowhere safe, increase the risk of crime, and risk abuse of power by police; public safety should be protected, but also people in need should get support, housing, and help instead of punishment; we need a system that helps people live safely, not one that I think would shove people out of sight.
