Petition request

That the House of Representatives urge the Government to advocate for international intervention to end the blockade of Parachinar, Pakistan and support relief efforts.

Petition reason

Parachinar, Pakistan, faces a severe crisis with more than 750,000 people trapped for more than 125 days due to a blockade, lacking food, medicine, and fuel. More than 128 children have died and many more people have been killed or injured. I believe the Prime Minister and local leaders have worsened the situation and terrorist groups exploit the blockade. 85,000 students are deprived of education. I urge NZ to advocate for international intervention and support relief efforts for Parachinar.
