Petition reason

This petition seeks to remove home detention and community-based sentences as sentencing options for sexual offences. We want this to apply to all sexual offending, including physical offences involving children or adults, physical contact, non-contact offending, and digital sexual offending. The proposed change aims to strengthen accountability and ensure that sentencing reflects the seriousness of sexual offending.
