Petition request

That the House of Representatives change its Standing Orders to prevent a member of the Government reading from or referring to any written material when answering a supplementary question from a member of a party in Government.

Petition reason

I believe that the use of patsy questions by Government members is an insult to members of the public, as well as to the proper conduct of Parliamentary business, and that my petition addresses this issue in an easy and straightforward way.
