That the House of Representatives require that non-drug treatments are included in compulsory treatment orders under the Mental Health Act.
Petition reason
I do not accept that drug-only treatments alone will heal mental health issues. I believe non-drug treatments should be included in compulsory treatment orders. I believe that without treatments that heal and cure mental health issues, we shall only continue to see increases in mental health issues in our society. Non-drug treatments that have been documented to heal and cure people are counselling, therapy and psychological treatments that are in keeping with established truths about trauma.
