That the House of Representatives legislate to allow grieving fathers to receive parental leave equal to that of mothers after the birth and death of a stillborn child.
Petition reason
After witnessing someone close to me grieve the loss of his stillborn daughter, and then struggle to care for his partner recovering from the stillbirth, I believe this person was required to return to work before he was mentally or physically ready. I believe fathers should receive equal financial assistance, so that they too can grieve and recover from the loss of a child who was stillborn.
