That the House of Representatives urge the Government to review public sector wages, benefits, and employment conditions to seek greater accountability, transparency, and measurable outcomes for taxpayer money that is spent on the public sector workforce.

Petition reason

I am aware of concerns that differences may exist between public sector and private sector compensation for similar roles and responsibilities. This petition requests a review of public sector employee wages and benefits to better ensure fairness, transparency, and responsible use of public funds while continuing to attract and retain skilled workers. I request that the sector demonstrates measurable value for money and ensures remuneration decisions are sustainable over the long term.
