That the House of Representatives establish permanent daylight saving time.

Petition reason

I believe that permanently adopting daylight saving time would address health concerns about the effect on circadian rhythms, and would allow extended hours of business during times of recession, as natural light would replace electrical lighting in offices, factories and homes. During energy crises overseas, I think permanent daylight savings time would aid energy conservation and productivity. This was done during World War Two. I believe it would save millions of dollars in time changeovers.
