That the House of Representatives amend the Protection for First Responders and Prison Officers Bill to give registered nurses the same protection as first responders under that bill.

Petition reason

Registered nurses can be abused and physically attacked by not only the patient they have to care for but also some of their visitors. District nurses have to go into people's homes and can encounter hostile situations. Therefore, I believe that registered nurses should be included in the bill and be protected as first responders are.
