Petition reason
We seek a new, single Act that: is managed by the Ministry of Health; strictly regulates the commercial supply of all psychoactive substances, including legal drugs; honours Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles of partnership, protection and participation; is based on science, evidence, and lived experience; upholds principles of harm reduction; and legalises adult possession, cultivation, and production of drugs for personal use with a goal to protect civil rights and eliminate the illegal market.
